Disney World: Part I

So here we go...we decided to hit the magical land. We could have arrived earlier if our darn GPS did not send us offtrack which resulted in a delay that afternoon. We eventually made our way and landed our footsteps in Disney World a little after 2pm. Right before arriving Disney, we spotted an outlet mall. I was thinking "screw Disney World. I would rather shop" lol.

Here we are in magical land - a place where millions dream of visiting. Buying a one-day pass for 5 hour adventure at @$82 per person was not really worth the money in my opinion but I mean we were already in Florida and a chance to get away is not easy for mommy and daddy, so why not?

"Epcot Theme Park" (Epcot theme park, one of 4 Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort, sprawls across 300 acres—twice the size of Magic Kingdom theme park—and is divided into Future World and World Showcase.) was our choice instead of Magic Kingdom simply because I didn't feel like riding a roller coaster and phew all over the place if that makes any sense to you. The landscaping is SO SPECTACULAR with all those colorful flowers, I started to think how much it costs them per year to maintain this place.

One thing I have to say after strolling inside. I would NOT bring my dauther here until she is at an age when she can remember and actually enjoy this experience. I saw so many small kids looking miserable after all with their parents dragging them all over the place under hot and humid climate. When I said small, they were really small like babies and toddlers between age 1-3. My husband and I personally think they are too young to actually remember or enjoy this. It is very contradicting in a sense to see how miserable small kids look in this magical land. We would imagine that everyone should look all happy and giddy, right? We may wait until she is at least 5 years old to come back as a family.

  1. OMg! Lotsooo! Even though he was the villain in the movie I have a stuffed animal of him and he smells like strawberries. And my goodness!! $82 for only 5 hours? Prob the biggest reason I haven't gone to Disney World yet.

  7. Omgosh nelah I love your summer outfit so casual and yet so chic at the same time!!!

I totally know what you mean I've had this conversation with my husband many times before disneyworld just seems like total overstimulation for babies and little ones..all the crowds and the sounds and the colors I would be freaked if I were a baby and why would you want to pay like 100 bucks just to push a stroller with a crying baby in it.. I don't understand why parents would torture themselves like that!

Hehe thank you nelah... Yeah all my clothes are pretty inexpensive..Mostly because I'm not very good at taking care of clothes I just through everything in the wash together even dry clean itemsl...which is why I don't even bother buying clothes that need to be dry cleaned anymore haha. I just like expensive accessories hahaha.
