These cute little darlings come in three different (the ones shown above, light grey and light blue). I wanted them all to tell you the truth. Making a decision on a pair of shoes could never be that difficult but it was a tough one. Couldn't I have them all?!?! My braing was working really hard at that point. After 30 seconds of thorough consideration, I grabbed two pairs, paid and left the store happily ever after! Thinking back, I should have gotten the other color too haha.
Poor poor rose - it got squeezed in the suitcase. Hope it returns to its shape soon
On an unrelated note, I feel so darn tired after this trip. It is like I need a vacation after vacation if that makes any sense to you. Traveling with a child is definitely a whole new story, it never felt like you can really get to relax because you still have a little one to take care 24 hours. I guess I am still in the process of recuperating. The whole vacation was not that relaxing itself, it was more like a rush because we had very limited time. There were several things we could not do or had to cancel. So many people to see but we couldn't see everyone. If you haven't had a child yet, I highly recommend that you take the time and travel because it will be more difficult when you have one. I am not saying it is a horrible experience but it takes a lot more preparation. With good planning and preparation, the trip can be as smooth as silk (really?! lol).
One interesting comment my friends made to me was that I acted a lot more mature. I also feel like I am not who I used to be since last time I saw them. I acted silly, really silly, was a lot more playful and not so serious about life. Over the last three years, things changed dramatically. I am not sure that I totally like this change myself. I have become a lot more of an introvert and take things a lot more seriously. Planning is my top priority and I like to feel that I am in control of everything which sometimes drive me insane. I do want to be a silly person who I used to be. I want to be that person who can relax, laugh, go with the flow and stop planning things. Sometimes we just focus on something too much that we igore the joy and beauty in life and I am the case. I seriously need to take the time to go to a temple, meditate and find my inner peace once again. I wish I went to temples when I was home because the nearest Thai temple here is over an hour away!!
My husband is an extreme opposite. He is so laid back, cool and calm in every situation (there are times when he gets frustrated and freaks out but very rare). If my husband and I were the same type, I didn't think we could stay together because things would go downhill and down the drain lol. There are times I want him to be like me but at the end of the day I feel grateful he is the way he is. I guess this is the case when the difference creates a harmony and nice balance in the relationship. Okay..my self-therapy session is over for today - hope you enjoy me rambling and complaning :)
