{Top and shorts: purchased from Bangkok / Boots: Steve Madden Candence Boot in Cognac}
My search for brown boots was eventually over two weeks ago. It had been 3 - 4 years ever since I bought my last pair and that was a black pair from Kohl's. For less than $70, I wore those babies to pieces..literally and got my money worth.
Boots are a must-have for fall and winter. I had always dreamt of wearing boots since I lived in a tropical country like Thailand where it never gets cold. My wish came true just when I relocated to the states.
Since my first pair was in black, I thought I wanted to have ones in brown this time. I knew exactly what I was looking for and this pair just matched all my criteria from its color, its style and price range. The best part - it is so incredibly comfortable. My feet fell in love! I didn't even know it was from Steve Madden until the sale lady went back to get me a new pair. To me, the brand doesn't matter as long as they are comfortable and I like it.

GO NELAH!!! Im lovin those boots....I have a few pair, but to be honest, SM are by far the most comfy.....the striped sweater rocks lady!!!

I love these boots and they sound like a bargain! I agree that boots are a musthave for winter and I picked some up while I was shopping in the states here. Btw did I tell you that shopping is SOOO good here in the states rather than Aus. You guys have so much variety and better prices!!
ReplyDeleteI love the color and doesnt look too high so it will definitely be comfy! I got my steve madden cognac pair last Winter at Macys and it's my go to boots! I think madden girl is also by Steve Madden but it's a lil cheaper..that's why the one I got was just around $25. To me brand is not important either as long as it's sturdy and comfy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finding a new pair of boots! It definitely look great on you! Lately I'm into Steve Madden and they do make good and pretty shoes. I've zero pair to now 3 pairs of Steve Madden shoes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your boots to the max babe!
So glad you finally found these boots...now I am wondering if we should tell Ying from My Dressy Ways to come view these...she's been on the hunt! I am looking for a pair of brown short boots...I had mine from 9West for 5 years and they had to go...it was a sad day :(
ReplyDeleteNelah, those boots are sharp! Glad they're comfy and that you like them. That's important! :D

YAY you look great in them! I tried them last year and they were a major fail for me. The pair I got were super light cognac- not sure what's up w/that but these look great on you! Perfect shaft height too :)
ReplyDeleteHi Nelah, we are so opposite. When i was younger i wanted to live in a tropical climate where I could wear shorts all the time and ditch the boots forever :) Steve Madden boots are awesome, my very first pair of platform boots like 13 years ago were from him. This is proof that style doesn't have to cost and arm and a leg. And the fact that they're comfy is an awesome bonus :)
ReplyDeletelove the boots!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in boots! This pair is in such a versatile shade, I'm sure you can match it with anything and everything!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm always hoping that I can live in a country with 4 seasons so that I can experiment with different outfits and footwear. I love boots too and since I can't wear them in Singapore, I take them overseas. I have erm..at least 5 pairs of knee high boots..and I get nagged at constantly by my hubby. :P
