I knew I could not go wrong buying summer dress towards the end of Summer because Fall does not approach as quick as most people want it to. I bought this dress last month when I did my once in three month cloth shopping. This dress has a potential to transition to fall, I am looking forward to paring it with brown boots or somethhing. This weekend, I plan to take my little one to the pumpkin patch at this particular church we go every October. There will also be a petting zoo, train rides and those kiddies' fun stuff. We will have a blast snapping pictures of our little pumpkin next to the real pumpkins. I am hoping to share some photos with you next week.

Nelah, I have FALLEN in love with your dress girl! It is so beautiful! I love the beautiful leaf print design and your ruffled cardigan. The bench and flowers around you are gorgeous. What a pretty area! Have fun at the pumpkin patch! Those should be some amazing pictures. Can't wait to see them! Have a wonderful weekend girl! ((HUG))

I love those shoes.....I think I may be able to get away with wearing those for another week or so because it is getting really cold in Chicago! I am sure your daughter will enjoy this weekend, although I will say my first time at a petting zoo...I didn't like it. I went for a school field trip and the lamb was starting to gnaw at my jacket and it smelled bad. Yup that was exactly what I told my mom and my jacket went straight into the wash and the look on her face...petting animals??? o_O
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you would have lots of fun this weekend. It sounds like great fun to me going to a pumpkin patch ( never ever knew what it is until I started reading blogs) and petting animals.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the dress being very versatile too. Pairing with boots really changes it to fall.
Did I see a picture of your hubby posing with your bag?
You know I always like your jazz videos. I got inspired by you. Thank you for introducing the very talented Chris Botti with his sexy trumpet playing a while back. I love how cute he is and I love all his collaborations with singers too.
Luv the song! I love your outfit 100x, though. :)
ReplyDeleteYvonne and Jo: my husband said everytime he carries my bags, it bring out the girliness/gayness in him..haha.
ReplyDeleteCollette: I am slowly learning the awesome art of layering from you.
Kim: I wish my backyard looked like this but in reality very far from the pictures with weeds and brown patches lol.
Bessie: what an experience at a petting zoo
Herroyalbleakness: thanks girl, glad you like the song.
Hi Nelah, thanks for the sweet comment! I've been bad with commenting lately too, starting a new job soon, so I'm pretty busy :( Love your whole outfit, and the bag... GORGEOUS! Have a great weekend!! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Nelah, can you please spread some of that sunshine over here? Please?? The weather has been crap here for 3 days straight and I'm pretty sure that i'm almost 100% deprived of my vitamin D. I love this outfit, so feminine (like always!) and i said it before but I really like that yellow belt. I'm sure that you are going to have a great time with little one at the pumpkin patch, I look forward to the pics :)
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow belt. A great accent to the outfit!
