A simple key to turn a dark colored outfit into something more interesting and eye-catching is by adding a pop of bright color. With a piece of two of bright colored accessories, your outfit will be transformed. I like this simple trick, very effortlessly chic to say at least. Forever21 is my favorite place to buy cheap and colorful belts, I wish they come in more colors and varieties.
My order of makeup/skincare goodies from Sasa finally arrived last week. Can't wait to try out this most talk-about DollyWink liquid eyeliner. I know my cat is just thrilled and dying to use it. I also bought a box of My Beauty Diary masks to try due to their rave reviews, not so impressed and I broke out with small pimples on my forehead :(. Oh well. Still have 8 packs of Bulgarian White Rose mask left, I may give them away to whoever that want to try later this week.

Love the red belt....I find my fav ones at F21 too....dont you think even the smalls run big?
ReplyDeleteMaybe there is an easy way to shorten them..this I would like to know:)

Love the red belt accent! Makes the entire outfit pop. Seeing the dolly wink eyeliner makes me so sad... I actually lost mine while on holiday last month. That was one of my favorite eyeliners. How do you like using it so far?
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of red, really makes the outfit!
ReplyDeleteAnd Dolly wink eyeliner is just <3.
Love the top!

I'm so sorry to hear that the mask didn't work on you. It worked for me though. I usually put it in the fridge for a day before using it and it feels good on the skin after a hot-day-out!
ReplyDeleteHope the DollyWink eyeliner works for you. Have you tried Maybeline Lasting Eyeliner? I tried it today and it is good!! Very dark and long lasting indeed =)
I have been wanting to try that dollywink eyeliner too and I love My beauty diary masks! I can't wait to buy some when I'm in Taiwan. I definitely agree a pop of color makes an outfit stand out :)

I love the pop of red! And I agree- its a great way to add color to a neutral outfit :)
ReplyDeleteHi Nelah, I love how you always add a little something special to your outfits, and in this case that red belt really adds a little 'sumthin' sumthin' to the outfit. I haven't heard of the dollywink eyeliner but can't wait to see what you think!
ReplyDeleteOH man...cosmetics that gave you zits...oh boo! I just picked up a whole bunch of those skinny belts at F21 the metallic ones, they used to be $1.50 for the patent finish...they're now $3.80! OMG...ok yes I know I am being rediculous but seriously??? I don't see 2x the improved quality...
ReplyDeleteWorked like a dream, the belt really did pop out! I love adding a little gold to my dark outfits, i think that makes a lovely combination :)
ReplyDeleteI loveee f21 belts!! did you know that they have new colors? I was in there today and saw royal blue, orange and emerald green! Im going back tomorrow to get the green and blue! =) it's kinda bad when the mall is across the street from my work building! lol
ReplyDeleteThat pop of red is just perfect! And your cat is so cute! I'm sure the eyeliner will look great on him/her!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI do love that pop of Red.. I think I need a pop of colour for the belt too! great idea :D
ReplyDeleteThat red belt does make a lot of difference to the outfit! It's very pretty indeed. Oh I've been wanting to try out Dollywink's liquid eyeliner, but it was sold out when I tried to get it at a drugstore here. I'm currently using Dollywink's pencil eyeliner, which is pretty average in my opinion. It'll be great if you could do a review on the liquid eyeliner once you've started using it!
