Travel in Style Part II: Fail to launch

l4

On Friday (4/29), my husband and I were about to witness something big in history. That's right, a primary reason of this trip was to watch a launch of Endeavor's last voyage to the International Space Station. This event expected to draw over 700,000 people.

My husband was probably more excited than I did because he is more interested in science rocket. An original launch date was scheduled on 4/19 but it had been slipped. We kind of knew that there was a "possibility" that something could go wrong technically/mechanically and it might get slipped again. However, we took that chance (actually the husband since I didn't have to use my vacation or anything to begin with).

Our itenerary that day was to get on a bus at Merritt Square Malla between 11:30 - 12:30pm which is about 15 minutes from the hotel. We started off our day at Denny's and it was slammed damn jammed. We decided to leave early and hanged out at the mall to avoid a major traffic. At 12:20, everyone got on a bus and couldn't be more excited. A few minutes later, a cooridinator informed us that there was a technical issue but told everyone to stay positive as they may be able to resolve the issue. Just 5 minutes afer that, the same cooridinator came back and delivered bad news to everyone - oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh (hell) NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We got screwed!!!!!!!!

Forever 21 Chanel Inspired Jacket (my husband laughed out loud when I said it was Chanel "inspired" (fake) piece) lol

My husband couldn't be any more disappointed. It was after 12:00pm at that point when we got off the bus, what were we going to do for the rest of the day?!!! There was not much to do in Cocoa Beach, really. One brilliant idea came across my mind, this place was no where in our itenerary because of limited time we had on this trip but what the heck - we still had a few hours to kill before the sun goes down.

Larie: I bought that bracket from Bangkok, Thailand. I would say it looks more beautiful in person than in picture :)

  9. That totally stinks!

Did you end up buying tickets to spend just a few hours at Disney? I might have been able to get you in for free if I'd known!

I love that he laughed at it being Chanel inspired. Certainly he wouldn't want you to spend money on the real thing, would he? :)
