Today we celebrated my husband's grandpa 90th birthday. What would it be like to live for 9 decades and see all the happenings in the past 90 years in this world? What would it be like to experience the life the way most people can't experience? What would it be like to live an enriched life he does?
Life is like a butterfly. Life is so fragile yet beautiful. If we can get past the difficult times in life, many beautiful flowers are awaiting us to explore and enjoy.

Wow... that's amazing, I hope he had a happy birthday and many more to come. Today is actually my grandpa's death anniversary (one year ago) so grandparents have been on my mind as well. Anyway, don't want to be too gloomy so I'll just be happy for your grandpa instead :)

Happy Birthday to your hubby's grandpa. My Dad turns 70 this year. He said he is so happy to live this long to see his children all grow up and get to see his grandchild. You look very beautiful. I love your necklace. Where is it from? may I ask?

ReplyDeleteIt is amazing for one to live 90 years...and have the love of his family through the decades. My great-grandma is still alive and about 95, and lives independently. It's amazing to me. Happy belated birthday to gramps!
