I am a stay at home type of person and have always been that way. It is fun to go out once in a while but I don't feel like going all the time or every single weekend. I am glad my husband is the same way, we are simply boring and old people.
I made a trip to the Mall today for retail therapy. It is good for the soul but bad for my wallet but that's okay. I gotta do what I gotta do ;)

Okay..after hearing so many positive reviews of M.A.C., I decided to give it a shot to find out what it is all about. I went to M.A.C. counter to get a foundation and a powder today. With the help from a MUA, I think I found a good match for my skin tone. Liquid foundation is not something I use EVER but this one is lightweight and feels pretty good on my skin.
Last stop, Sephora...I have no idea how much money I have dumped at this store since I always manage to go and purchase something every single time!
Nice haul! And I totally know what you mean, haha. My cart is already stocked up and ready to go for Sephora's FF. :D
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have a long weekend and find some times for yourself. I have to force myself not to go to Sephora cuz I know I will ended up spending quite a bit of money there. I love your hair. I don't remember it was that long. Nice curls!

ReplyDeleteHubby and I are also an old boring couple at heart haha. We love to stay in and watch TV/movies instead of going out. I definitely know what you mean about having so many things to do and not enough time too! I hate having to choose between getting things done and getting enough sleep, because too often I give up sleep and end up feeling like a zombie at work. You're so lucky you have a 4-day weekend! Hope you enjoy it and get lots of rest!

I tend to be a homebody a lot of the time too. But then with a 3-year-old, sometimes I just have to get out to find something to do other than watch TV!
I LOVE MAC but unfortunately, their foundation makes me break out. I do love their eyeshadows/lipsticks and glosses!

ReplyDeleteSydney: I havent tried that one yet but I am quite impressed with their eye cream so I decided to try the moisturizer and sunscreen too. Will see how much I like them.
Heehee I know what you mean, I swear I'd be rich by now if I had no interest in cosmetics! Philosophy's also interesting, let us know how you like the products... That foundation is a good one, one of my favourites... I used to work at MAC.
