For over three years now, I still love looking through photos of my daughter from birth until present. Those photos do not only document her growth but it also documents my journey in motherhood and how far we have come along as a mother and a child together on this road. They bring back lots and lots of memories as a first time mom. There were things I wish I could turn back time to fix for the better. There were moments when I could have handled things better but since we can't turn back time the future is there for us to change thing for the better so that we won't regret again. Being a mother is all about learning from trial and error. You wish you could do everything right but it was impossible. You wish you could be the best you could be but what exactly is "the best"? What kind of measures we can use.
How ADORABLE!!! What a precious & beautiful baby! I've been thinking about shelling out some extra cash to get a much nicer camera... now I feel convinced I should! =)
ReplyDeleteYou definitely must buy a dslr because you will be very pleased with your daughter's photos a few years from now when you look back.
DeleteSuch cute baby pictures! I miss my kids at that age. I totally agree that a happy medium is essential for both baby's happiness and mommy's sanity. BTW, I really enjoy your blog. I appreciate how candid you are about both the ups and downs of motherhood because everyday is not rainbows and sunshine as a mommy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comment :) I think my blog probably scares the mothers-to-be because i make motherhood sound quite scary..:)
Deletegreat pics. i think every parent does that; i even catch my hubs doing that once in a while. when i see certain pics, i remember the exact moment when that photo was taken; i remember the trials and tribulations i went through and how far i've come (and how much i've learned) as a mother.
ReplyDeletenow that kayla is going to be 4, those years of her as a tiny baby seems o far away because of how much she's grown. i can't even imagine her at 16, when her being a wee baby will probably seem eons away! WAH! :(
I know what you mean. I try to make as many videos of my little one and look st them as if i could relive those moments again.
ReplyDeleteIf only there's a manual for parenthood. It's the most important job in the world yet there's little guidance other than our own instincts. I think most of us stumble along learning through trial and error with our own baggage intact. It's hard when I see Lil L who's 6 now. I still get a little teary eyed when I see how far we've come along.
ReplyDeleteYou're daughter is adorable. I hope to invest in a DSLR one day but for now I have to settle with my point and shoot camera. I love taking pictures of babies. I have tons of pictures of my daughter, son, nieces and nephews. It's always fun to look at their picture and see how many they have grown.
ReplyDeletei love looking through Kaylee's photos too! I'm only sad that we forgot to bring our camera when I delivered her :( I love my camera, I invested in a nicer DSLR when K was couple months old so we can video tape her in HD :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck with photoshoot, google up some actions to process your photos. I have to admit, photoshot can be hard but once you get into it, it's not so bad. I would watch youtube videos to get the basic. Good luck!
Your little princess is so cute and adorable!! My mum also loved taking pictures of me when i was little and I really appreciate it because they are so fun to look back on especially with her!
ReplyDeleteI really should invest in a nice DSLR, I love taking photo's but just haven't got the time and money to invest in one yet! xX
P.S. I'm glad you enjoyed my DIY jewellery box post! :)
Yes, finding a happy medium is certainly very important.
ReplyDeleteIt's such joy to look through your daughter's growing up photos. I'm sure there is a mixture of feelings looking at them.
You make motherhood a lot more real, not scary.
