Tweed & Summer Heat

Here is a second take on a tweed jacket. Yes, I know it is kind of nuts to wear a tweed jacket in a summer heat. Given that I didn't get enough wear of this baby last fall/winter, I kind of missed it and felt an urge to take it out for a short spin. This is definitely something you wear when you go straight from your vehicle to a building that has a/c because you can easily suffer from an instant heat stroke wearing this. I really like this color combination and texture but I would certainly wait until fall. Until then, this tweed jacket shall rest peacefully in a quiet corner of my closet.

    I think it's perfectly okay to layer up in the summer. AC can get pretty cold in most buildings. Your tweed is lovely. I like how you wear it.

    HAHA don't worry.. i don't think i'd ever give up on blogging completely.. i just don't blog as much as i use to these days.. i think i use to blog like easily 3 time a week.. and now it's about once a week..

    i actually dont own any tweed jacket but it would be good to keep at the office. I always have to have a cardigan or blazer at work bc im also also freezing in the office!

    I really like how you styled this outfit! It's a great combination of colors and texture. I love your tweed jacket! I really hit to hit up the Uniqueen site. You could definitely still wear this in the office in the summer but tweed would definitely be a no-no in the blistering heat.
