Colors are fun.
Eyeshadows have never been a part of my makeup routine because I find it too complicated for my skills and patience. Eyeliner and eyelash curler are usually my to-go items and I call it a day. All that applying, layyer and blending...I wish I could hire a professional makeup artist to perform some magic every day but that sounds impossible.
My purpose of purchasing this NYX Makeup Kit was to mainly experiment and practice. Hopefully one day I can master the art of applying eyeshadows. This kit is so affordable and the colors are gorgeous. Very nice for a beginner. And..no, I have yet to try every single color in this pallette.
You probably have not seen my eye makeup this close before but you are about to see a crappy job. Boy...I can't draw a straight line, can I?!? Just pretend you didn't see it :D There is a reson why I don't buy waterproof products. I have to fix my mess several times before I acheive the look I want.
Perhaps one day....I can be a pro :D

ReplyDeleteThese colours are really pretty! I am so boring with my make-up routine, it is a light beige overall, a gold 2/3 of the way, and a dark green on the crease. I've yet to try pastels but feel the inspiration to try it! You did a great job with your eye make-up and your eyes are larger than mine so you definitely have more room to fill in the colours ;)

ReplyDeleteI think you are doing a great job! you should check out the Naked Palette from Urban Decay. It's my to go palette since it has all the neutral colors in there. 2 years ago I was obsessed with makeup..I seriously brought soo much..but mainly because I wanted to do my own makeup for my wedding..so I did a lot of researching..still not good at it..oh well :D I have very tiny eyes (thank god kaylee didnt inherit that from me) so it was hard to find someone to do my makeup :D

you did a great job!!! i'm not a fan of applying eyeshadows either b/c i lack experience... sometimes i might even look drag queen like, who knows! haha!
