{Shorts and Shoes: purchased from Bangkok}

Earlier last week, I was contacted by Lovemode.com if I would be interested in picking an item from their online store to share wit you. Upon a small investigation to find out who they were and browsed through their site, my response was "yes". In short, Lovemode is a Trendy, cute and affordable juniors clothing company based in the U.S., they also have a sister's site called Kiki's Fashions which offer trendy "maternity" clothes. Why didn't I learn about their site when I was pregnant?!?!

Being smaller than average women can be really hard to find clothes that fit. Undoubtedly, my main shopping source is therefore at junior department. Not that I want to look underage but Junior clothing fit better in many cases. I have been pretty lucky about finding items for both work and causal days from that department, they do have some amazing finds.

There were a few pieces that I had in mind but ended up with this black top with dotted details on the sleeves since I thought it seemed very versatile and unique.

My thoughts

Price and Quality:
Similar to Forever 21. Quality is good for its price. I wish its fabric was not this sheer but it may be designed to look this way for a reason. I can't really judge if other items are better or worse in terms of quality. Another alternative to Forever21 if you like to shop around this price range. They also have a lot of sexy clubbing wears for stylish social butterflies. Boy, their models are so busty, I am jealous!!

Sizing:
the smallest size is "S" and the largest size available is "L". Sizings for each item are varied so be sure to pay close attention to their sizing chart. Some "small" runs bigger or small than another.

LoveMode is offering a gift certificate to one of my fellow bloggers and 52NewDays' readers. Giveaway detail is coming up tomorrow (Tuesday 9/27) - please stay tuned :D

  3. This is a really cute outfit and I like the dolman sleeved top, I agree with you on the sheer factor. Not exactly my favorite fabric to work with but once in a while it is fun to wear a different colour underneath to create a fun look! Very good review and I'll have to check it out!

  4. Nelah, I love that top!!! I would definitely wear it. It is so cute and adore the dots on the sleeves. I love the sheerness. Just as you've done, just add a little cami underneath and it lends to the allure of it. I'm also loving your shorts with the bows by the pockets. It's a great look girl! And your little one is so adorable. :D Have a great Monday and I look forward to your giveaway.

  5. I completely agree with you. I don't particularly like shopping in the children's section unless they offer a version similar to the adult's for less.

  7. what a cute top!! will def check out the site. =]

    as for my eyeliner...i can only say that it takes practice lol. been doing liquid liner since hs! i'd recommend using a easy to use liquid liner pen, such as the dolly wink one. it's really easy to control. & go slowly in small strokes, don't draw the line all in 1 go. hope it helps! i'll try to take pics of me drawing if i remember lol :D

  8. I actually quite love the top w/ the dotted sleeves and the sheerness of it. That would be a very casual, perfect shirt to work while I do makeup on clients--chic and stylish!

  9. HI Nelah, you definitely picked well, the polka dot top looks great on you (and right on trend for fall). I like how you styled it with the shorts and flats (and how could i miss that Chanel!). Gorgeous. Thanks for your honest review of this company :)

  10. I went to view their website for quite a while.

    I think it's sheer on purpose but a cami or tube always does the trick. I also love your bow shorts. I've to get to Bangkok soon!
