So very "Chanel" inspired~*

Ladies, if you adore lace, feminine and romantic clothing like me..you are in for a sweet treat. Nothing screams romance like lace items. I literally "gasped" when my eyes met this cardigan on a display at Forever21. It may sound like a crazy statement but heck that was how I really felt. The shape of a cardigan, bows, buttons, colors cream and white...it is so Chanel. It is so very parisian that I had to whip out my Chanel mini classic flap from her dust bag to pair with this cardigan! I felt like I was in France..haha.

If you read my previous post, I shopped at F21 on three separate occasions over the weekend. As crazy as it may sound I took my two year old with me on the first trip. Result? I had to do a super power shopping and my little one eventually had a major tantrum (thank god, in a car!!). That night I decided to shop online since my shopping trip was not so smooth, couldn't get much out of that trip. On Sunday, my mother in law was kind enough to offer to watch my little one so I had more time to actually browse through every corner for 2 full hours.

{please excuse wrinkles on my skirt :D}

I am most excited about this cardigan and knew right away what skirts I am going to pair with. Size S is perfect for petite ladies because you will have to wear something underneath. I creatd two looks - one top and two skirts which I have had for a long time. The pink skirt is also from F21 since last year. I actually put it on blog sale but no one wanted it so I took it down. That cream lace skirt was purchased in Bangkok back in Feb.

I have yet to wear this outfit out in public. It is gorgeous both way in my opinion and there is no need to add accessories. However it is quite dressy and seems appropriate for a date night at some fancy restaurants. I will find way to style it with pants too.

I didn't see this cardigan online though, it may only be available in store. Good luck finding stuff at F21! Gosh, their store is HUGE and very overwhelming. I found myself wandering like a lost duckling. Their racks are so freaking crammed you cant pull stuff out to see the size. I prefer shopping at a physical store so I can see the fabric and quality as opposed to online where it is hard to tell. Overall I got some awesome pieces and you will see more outfit posts in the days to come.

Which look do you like better?

  5. Very pretty! You know, I have never yet set foot in F21 - I always have my kids with me, and I know I wouldn't be able to spend time browsing the racks. Nice to hear your mother could babysit so you could take a look! Love the Chanel bag!!

  15. You have great style, I would love to put an outfit like this together and go out with my kids. I like nice clothes but it is hard to juggle both style and function with two young kids, that's for sure!
