No..no..no..not red, white and blue for me this year. How was your 4th of July weekend for fellow bloggers in the U.S.? I hope you all had a great time with your family and fun shopping trips. Mine did not turn out the way I dreamt of but that was to be expected. How can one relax with a two year old, right? I live and learn but I had a quality time with my daugther and tantrum-free weekend. That's ALL I ever ask for these days, not an alone time, not a shopping trip and not another Chanel. All I want is her sweet love, my sanity and peace...Amen.
Top: H&M (gift from my sweet sister in law since last year)
Shorts: purchased from Bangkok
Shoes: Brazillian brand - "Schultz"
Bag: Chanel Mini Classic Flap
After four trips and countless indecisive hours wandering in the wonder world of Chanel back in May, my beloved husband makes sure that I use this bag to the best of my ability and as often as I can. He encourages me to bring it out EVERY occasion (except the trips to grocery store and alike) we go out and get the bang for our hard earned bucks. Chanel is a classic and I have no regret that I made this unusual choice for my first one. I personally like something with a modern twist, this metallic finish gives just what I want and I think it suits my personality somehow. My clothing style is feminine but I have that sassy side as well.
This mini classic flap still is going to be a timeless piece, at least that’s what I tell myself. The good thing is I am not afraid to use it as I thought I would be. With it being lambskin, I just have to be careful but not to the point where I keep it in its dust bag forever. One thing though, I will definitely buy a bigger bag for my second. I am not a light carrier to begin with so this bag is a bit of a challenge when transferred items. Heck, my wallet is about the size of this bag.

I am glad you had a peaceful weekend. Your Chanel is very unique. For me, I probably will end up with a black one :)
ReplyDeleteYou made a great choice because I think a unique purchase should precede a classic staple! It's a smaller investment! Case in point, when I bought my first Gucci, I got a mini Jackie-O! I knew I wouldn't use it everyday and would save it for special events!
ReplyDeleteSuch a perfect outfit - I dare say it would have been a great Canada Day outfit :P It's great your husband is encouraging you to bring out the chanel. So often we lust after items and then are too afraid to use them when they are in our possession!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful classic piece, nelah!! i love your chanel and the color is so unique. i'm sure you'll be able to wear it with every outfit since the color is so versatile. i have chanel envy!

ReplyDeleteWow you have a two year old??!! You look amazing!! You are one yummy mummy!! I hope I can keep a lovely figure like yours when I have a child :) you have legs to die for, i'm so envious! I've always wanted to be tall.
ReplyDeleteI really like your outfit, we do have similar dress sense!! The red really brings out the outfit. I love your Chanel bag! It would drive me insane though because of its size i don't think I could fit much in there and I normally carry my whole life around with me lol! Your husband is so sweet! Men are like that aren't they, when they buy you something, they expect you to wear it all the time so they can feel smug with themselves hehe! xX
Doh! I just realised it says on your profile that you're a mother, i'm so forgetful, forgive me! xX
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit and so jealous of your fab Chanel handbag is just gorgeous.
