Vintage Vibe~*

There is an obvious reason to celebrate this Sunday (on top of this week being an independence day weekend) because most of us will have Monday off...Yay!!! Wouldn't we wish we all had 3 day weekend every week, would we? That would be terrific. If you remember, I purchased this Zara Crochet and pleated dress back in April and finally had the time to snap some photos in it. This dress was love at first sight, I simply loved everything about it from the crochet, those pleats, its neutral color and that flowy feel. It is one feminine and romantic dress. This dress didn't come with a belt but I felt it looked better with one so I added a belt.

Did I tell you how much I love my new earrings, the purple pair and this turquoise pair must be my best buy in a very long time. I absolutely love how the color pop beautifully and they are incredibly..incredibly lightweighted. I am going to post a pic of me wearing the other pair in the future post.

Onto some exciting news for me anyway, I am back in the saving mode. For the month of June, I am so pround to report that I only spent $64 on clothes for an entire month. At one point, I started to feel that my spending, wants and needs were somewhat ridiculous since the beginning of this year. I felt it was time once again to refocus on my financial goals and commit to them. I am not going to do a shopping ban because I know I will break it so I chose to limit my shopping and gave myself $100 per month on clothes and makeup. I know there will be times when I go over that amount but I will try until at least November. You know it will be hard in December when holiday shopping spirits take over, I will allow some sweet treats then but no more (expensive) bag this year (next year is another story...haha). There were some amazing deals which I was SO darn close to get like Rebecca Minkoff, TLBC and Amrita Sighn but I finally said "NO". Boy, I am so proud.
