Beautiful traps

It simply started with a V.I.B. discount from Sephora and a sale on NYX products at Ulta a week or two ago. Now I end up with this pile of goodies....thanks Easter bunny for delivering them on time. I have always wanted to try NYX products but got overwhelmed by their beautiful and gorgeous colors especially those eyeshadows. When I saw a 40% off NYX products in Ulta advertisement a week or two ago, I knew it was time to pull a trigger. I felt like a little kid in a candy store...boy oh boy..what should I buy? Tick..tock..tick..tock..I wanted all lol. I edited my cart about five times and ended up getting two pallettes since I was so indecisive. The Make-up Artist Kit was not on sale but I bought it anyway, for $29 it is still a good deal for everything that comes inside.

Are they gorgeous???????

{Bronzers/Brushes and Lipgloss}

This Nude on Nude pallette resembles the famous Urban Decay Naked Pallette

It contains eyeshadows and lipgloss

Most likely I will sell this Nude on Nude pallette on my Blog Sale in a brand new condition (coming up very very soon). Most of the colors in this pallette are in the Make-up Artist kit so there is no need for me to keep both.

Now onto goodies from Sephora. As a matter of fact, the only item I intended to buy was Yves Saint Laurant Eye Makeup Remover (received one in sample size and LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE it) but you know how it goes there are tons of good and new stuff out there. I felt like I wanted to try this and that, and maybe that too.

Josie Maran Argan Oil collection (sunscreen, organic oil for face/body and oil serum for hair). Sunscreen smells kind of weird though.

Saw several rave reviews on Benefit High Beam and wanted to try. This set contains three mini PosieTint, High Beam and Benetint. I think I will keep PosieTint and High Beam. Benetint will be on Blog Sale since I try to avoid using blush to emphasize my roseacea.

  1. Wow, you got some fun stuff! I'm not very experienced in make-up so I tend to stick with what I know and only buy those things. It seems like it would be lots of fun to play around with different colors if I had a little more knowledge!

  2. I was so tempted to buy from the Sephora sale but I already had SO much makeup I have yet to use. It was hard and don't know how I didn't give in to temptation. LoL. Tell us how the blushes are! I've always wanted to try blush tints.

  6. Melissa: I am not a pro either but I thought it would be fun to try something colorful and differnt. Totally out of my comfort zone just for the fun of it lol.

FleurLapin: You are sooooo good. I had been good and deleted all those promotion emails but I gave in this time haha.

    Susan: thanks so much :)

Kerrie: glad to hear it made its way to you finally. Sorry it took me so long to mail it out.

Alina: they are gorgeous, aren't they? I just hope I know how to apply and use them without looking like a clown.

  7. I have been thinking of going to Sephora in store to get some tips on eyeshadows, do you have any to share? I was thinking of buying the UD Naked Palette but it was out of stock at Sephora at the time of the 15% promotion.

  8. Whoa~ What an amazing haul! The makeup artist kit is really cheap for its contents! Gotta check em out sometime~ And how's YSL makeup remover? Is it really that great? I've been looking for a good makeup remover for quite sometime now but still can't decide which one to buy ><

  9. Jarucha: I think that naked pallette has been out if stock for months at Sephora due to a crazy demand. Since I am not a pro, I think having an MAU walk you through the process would be great.

Hercy: it works great for me personally. I find that each person has different view on eye makeup remover, it would be best if you could get a sample and try it by yourself. I heard rave reviews on Lancome but I didn't like it too much.
