My G..... Bag - the searh is over (for now anyway)

I made a quick trip to the mall during lunch break to peek at Brahmins bags the other day and was SO glad I went to see them in person before buying 1, 2 or 3 of them online. Their bags look pretty good in person, colors are nice and they are not too shiny or not shiny at all to say. Some colors are a bit off from the website though.

An Allie Rose Mini bag in pink was the one I had in mind, the color shown on the website is somewhat baby pink but an actual bag seems a bit washed off and dull. However it is well made, well structure, bigger than I expected, look expensive and appears very durable. Mojito Cross Body is also nice, pretty big and will fit lots of cards, passport and more. I was hoping to get one of their bigger bags but they didn't wow me as much as when I saw them online. You have to remember that I am not a fan of reptile skin/texture embossing to begin with. If you are into exotic animal embossed bags (they are not real though), you may love Brahmin. They do look expensive, better than their counterparts in the same category. For some reason, I feel that this kind of bag adds years to the person who carries it. However, i do love their Allie Rose bag and Mojito Cross Body bags, they are small, cute, fun, flirty and youthful. I may buy one in Coral red color.

Anyway onto my G bag...is it a Gucci?? You ask...read on..ladies..read on. I didn't come back empty handed. I chose this beauty out of the blue and I am head over heel over my new "Guess" bag right now. My Rampage bag probably thanks me a million time that I finally let it retire, go rest baby - thanks for being a good baggy during those 6 months.

This GUESS bag fits the bill, it caught my eyes and I fell in love right away. I actually own a few accessories from Guess and I love the design a lot, very chic and sassy.Even though this bag has this snake skin embossing, I still think it is soooooooo pretty, elegant, classy and I can't ask for more on the colors. Pink, beige and taupe are such beautiful and refreshing combination for Spring. The best part, it is not made from shiny materials and looks like a very expensive bag for $120 plus tax.

I also adore silver hardware and rhinestones embossed in a logo. They kind off add some bling..bling factor to the bag but not over the top. My daughter who is only two years old even said "pretty" and tried it lol. My co-worker was crazy over it when she saw me carrying it today. She literally went ga-ga and totally wanted one in the same color.

This bag was the last one...sitting lonely on the display so I snagged it right away yesterday. Soooooooooooo disappointed to say, my beloved coworker who loves my bag to death went to her office, browsed online and found it on sale for $89 at Macy's website. I screamed on top of my lung and swept my tears of sorrow...it is $31 cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. A store I bought this bag from wouldn't do price adjustment, clearly stated in the policy. I already cut its tag off as well. I am not sure if I want to go through troubles of returning it and to find that it is sold out online. I think I love this bag enough to suffer $31 loss. My husband said I was so close to shelling out $2,500+ on another bag three weeks ago so I will get over this $31 mishap lol. Heck, I can contribute that towards my saving, can't I?

Big lesson learned: shop AROUND, DAMN ME!!!!!!!

Very roomy inside considering that my wallet is 7"x4", still have room left for other items.

This bag comes in 3 colors, I personally think pink and neutral are prettier than black. You can carry it three different ways and use as a crossbody bag (it is a nice sized bag and a strap is removable). The bag is really beautiful in person and well made..you can easily fool someone that it costs $1,000 and up. I have an eye for expensive stuff (but not necessary have the $$ to buy lol) so you can trust me on that. I won't mind if anyone will buy the same bag, just don't say you get it cheaper because I will be very mad...grrrrrrrr. Okay GUESS...come pay me a free advertisement!!

Now that Easter is just around the corner, I will be doing some exciting activity tonight. Can anyone tell what it is? I am going to stuff Easter eggs with some goodies for my daugther so she and her little friends can go for an egg hunt fun tomorrow at her daycare...woo hoo. That's an exciting life of a mom lol.
