Call me crazy but I am jealous of my little girl's full and thick eyelashes.
Mama's attempt to look as good as you. With so little eyelashes which mama has - mama lost!!
Bought this L'oreal Double Extend Mascara a few weeks ago. I haven't really used both ends yet, simply use the black end but like it so far. The best mascara I have ever used is FiberWig. I used it a lot when I still lived in Asia. Now it is more difficult to find and only has to be ordered from oversea. I saw that Sephora also carries Figerwig but now sure if it is made with the same formula as the one in Japan. Still trying to fill my cart at Sasa.com to qualify for free shipping but don't know what else to get. If any of you are thinking about ordering something from there and don't meet the minimum on shipping, please shoot me an email. Perhaps we can work something out. The stuff I want to oder is now up to $50 value so I simply need another $25.
Finally found an effective makeup storage solution for my (junks) goodies. I used to put them in a big basket and the result was a BIG mess. I hate digging through that basket just to find one thing. A clear storage is great and only costs 10 bucks at Target. As you can see, I am not a makeup fanatic (just yet) so I don't have that many makeup items. Another reason I love makeup pallette is that it saves so much space.
On a somewhat related note, my blog sale is up and running (yay..finally). I still have more photos to upload so please check back for more items. Got so many emails asking about the NYX Nude on Nude Pallette which I recently bought and put on blog sale. That pallette and the Skin79 have recently been sold (sorry, I only have one set).
And....wooohooo Photobucket is back in business. My photos are back!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!

I am using the Fiberwig Lengthening from Sephora, its good b/c I like that you can remove it with just warm water. I can't compare to other mascaras since this is my first one...but I like the results. What brushes are you using? I also want to order from sasa but I always end up hauling a lot of stuff to try from diff brands...

Your daughter is so cute :) I use L'Oreal Double Extend mascara too, but I use the blue and gold one (the one with lash boosting serum). I use both sides, and it makes my lashes look thicker. I'm starting to use L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes more lately though..

Jarucha: great to hear someone that uses fiberwig from Sephora. I might as well just order from there instead of trying to buy other stuff I don't need just to qualify for free shipping. I use "Ecotools" brushes from Walgreen. They are pretty good.
ReplyDeleteSusalie: Thank you :) I will have to check Volume Million Lashes (hope it is not waterproof, I don't like waterproof stuff - too difficult to remove). Yes you should check out Target or other stores. I think clear storages are great. I am about to buy more to store everything in the house now lol.
You know wat? I'm jealous of your daughter's lashes too. At least your own lashes stand out! My eye shape makes it hard for lashes to stay curled. Luckily L'oreal's Telescopic Waterproof mascara helps a lot with keeping my lashes curled. I use another mascara on top to get volume since the telescopic one doesn't do much although it is great for lengthening.

ReplyDeleteps. inregards to your comment.. no the sale is open to everyone.. i usually get a card in the mail around december letting me know and i think those that get a card get first picks before the general public.. so i would recommend going into chanel and try befriending a SA and then she'll keep you in the loop!

I spy the Ecotools brush set! I have the same one and been using it for ages. So economical as well as soft. I also store my makeup in huge plastic bins from Walmart, heehee.

i've been looking for a new mascara - what do you think of the loreal one? maybe i'll see if my local sephora also carries fiberwig! sounds cool! and i am SO JEALOUS of your daughter's eyelashes!
ReplyDeleteChildren always have the most beautiful eyes...although yours are lovely as well :) I'm a big fan of Fiberwig and have found that the formula in the US is different! Hope you find a good substitute.
